I was discussing with someone on CGI: IRC - #wikia [64] about creating a Universal Translator. I am told that the point of this particular wiki was to create a language database. Is this indeed the case and if so, would there be any change of some sort of collaboration effort in creating a "Star Trek" type universal translator software that exceeds what is available now?
